A Grow-your-own playground workshop which allows kids to grow
their own 3D structures out of mycelium, learn about CAD software,
following instructions and getting an insight in 3D thinking, myceli-
um and biology. After 3 weeks of growing, the kids can play outside
with the blocks. The blocks are lightweight and safe to stack on top
of each other. The mycelium is not poisonous, waterproof and will
compost after 3 weeks of usage outside. With monthly creation of
new blocks and the implementation of specific themes like ‘Christ-
mas’ or ‘Halloween’ a rotation system can be applied.
